Stringendo is een ensemble voor strijkers van alle niveau’s boven de leeftijd van 21 jaar. (Jonger is mogelijk in overleg.) De kern van het ensemble bestaat uit cellisten, verfraaid met andere strijkinstrumenten. Hiervoor is de muziek speciaal gearrangeerd, passend bij de opbouw en het niveau van iedere speler.
Naast het repertoire besteden we ook aandacht aan bv. luisteren naar elkaar, intonatie, aangeven en op elkaar reageren. We spelen stukken uit verschillende stijlen, van Barok tot Romantiek, Klezmer tot de Beatles.
Repetities zijn eens in de 2 weken op woensdagavond van 19:00-21:00 in Muziekacademie Tussen de Bogen (nr.15), Amsterdam.
Data: 29 september, 13 en 27 oktober, 10 en 24 november 2021
Aan het eind van het project geven we een concert in de Dominicuskerk, Pastoriezaal (Spuistraat 12, Amsterdam).
Datum: woensdag 8 december 2021 om 18:30-22:00 (aanvang concert: 19:30)
Deelnemers mogen ook zelf iets spelen op het concert, maar dat is natuurlijk niet verplicht.
Aantal plaatsen: 5-9 spelers
Deelnemersbijdrage: €215,- (incl. 21% BTW)

Stringendo is an ensemble for string players of all levels over the age of 21. (If you’re younger and you’d like to play along, just ask!) The core of the ensemble is made up of cellists, embellished by other string instruments. The music is specially arranged to suit the line-up and the level of each player.
Besides our repertoire, we will also work on e.g. listening to each other, intonation, giving cues, and reacting to one other. We will play pieces from different styles, from Barok to Romantic, Klezmer to the Beatles.
Rehearsals are once in two weeks on Wednesday evening from 19:00-21:00 in Muziekacademie Tussen de Bogen (nr.15), Amsterdam.
Dates: 29 September, 13 and 27 October, 10 and 24 November 2021
At the end of the project we will give a concert in the Dominicus church, Pastoriezaal (Spuitstraat 12, Amsterdam).

Participants may also play something at the concert themselves if they like, but it isn’t mandatory.
